In a few weeks time, I'll be making my stand-up debut, and it's a big thing for me because I've always aspired to be a comic all my life, and now I'll be one! And boy have I worked hard for it! I have lots of people who I admire and look up to, but the first person who I really liked and admire is New Zealand's TV personality Jason Gunn. Jason, (the man in the photo), has a certain wit and charisma to him that I find unique, and even though he's not technically a stand-up comic, he kind of is in my point of view. He did a very funny impression of John McEnroe way back in the 90's. which I still find funny. I even met him, twice! He's such a nice guy, and he's really outgoing in a gentle way.

Sex & Disability

In recent years, I have struggled with my sexual life, and I recently got asked if I can have sex. The answer is yes, I can. In-fact, a lot of disabled people can. After-all, we are only human, and we have the same bodily functions as any other human on earth. I found the courage to write about this after listening to an amazing podcast by Stuff Mom Never Told You, which you can listen to here because it is super awesome and Cristen and Caroline do an awesome job exploring the topic from a well researched perspective.
